Enduring Mercy, Lasting Impact As we turn the page to the year 2004 marked by the dedicated efforts and generosity of the International Mercy Association across the hospitable land of Djibouti, we humbly acknowledge that the modest achievements we have recorded for our esteemed brothers and sisters represent but a fraction of what they truly deserve, for they are a people of great generosity and nobility. We remain committed to this path with God’s help and guidance to deliver further beneficial and impactful initiatives. We spare no effort or resource in this endeavor, seeking to uphold human dignity wherever people may be and to embody the message of mercy that we carry as a sacred trust. Our ultimate goal in all of this is to seek the pleasure of Allah Glory be to Him and to attain His reward and blessing, inspired by the words of the Almighty: "And whatever good you spend is for yourselves, and you do not spend except seeking the countenance of Allah. And whatever good you spend shall be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged" (Al-Baqarah: 272). This blessed endeavor instills a profound sense of contentment within our souls, fills our hearts to overflowing with love, and grants our bodies a priceless sense of peace and tranquility. Words fall short of adequately expressing our gratitude and appreciation to those generous benefactors—the kind souls who gave freely of their wealth to erect these humanitarian edifices and cultivate this good land. They have truly embodied the essence of human brotherhood and the values of solidarity. May God reward them—on our behalf and on behalf of the beneficiaries—with the best of rewards. We also extend our deepest love and sincere appreciation to the dedicated workers on the ground—the "knights of the field"—who spared no effort and endured hardships, seeking nothing but the pleasure of God. Congratulations to you on this great honor: attaining God’s pleasure and the love of the people. We pray to God Almighty to shelter this blessed journey under His all-encompassing care, to cover it with His gracious protection, and to shower it with the abundance of His generosity and blessings. Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.
